Bloomsday is celebrated on the 16 th of June every year in Dublin
It celebrates the life of James Joyce the Irish writer.
There are lots of events held on this day.
The novel Ulysses was written by him in 1904. Nora Barnacle was his wife to be
he wrote this novel on his firs outing with her. Dublin has a ferry named in his honor.
People dress in attire from the 1900s and wander around the city.
The James Joyce center is located on North great Georges street in the city
James Joyce Centre.
Funeral Reenactment of chapter six Hades from Ulysses took place this year in Glasnevin Cemetery.
