Dublin shows its love in the heatwave of the moment.
Thousands of people turned out today for the 2018 Pride Parade in the capital city
Groups from Tesco / Google /Esb /Facebook and for the first time members of our Defense forces joined in the celebration
The parade started in St Stephens Green and wound its way to Smithfield square.
There was a carnival atmosphere as the streets were decked in color as the revelers danced and cheered as they made their way
through old Dublin. Our former president Mary Robinson joined in the parade and also there was senator David Norris and other well
known personalities.
The sun beamed down in temperatures of 21 degrees as Ireland is in the midst of a heatwave where in recent days 30 degrees were
recorded. Pride holds a very special place in Ireland as the people of Ireland voted to legalize same sex marriage back in 2015.
Today the parade theme was We are family
Browse through my photos and next year join in the festivities don't forget its also a family day out
